Delete your Fickle Allies account

Fickle Allies is published by Sameen Ul Arifeen, trading as Ashfire Gaming Labs, India. This page explains how to delete your game account and the data linked to it, whether or not you still have the game installed.

Delete in the game

iPhone and Android

1. Sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Open Settings from the main menu and choose Delete Account.
3. Enter your current password and type DELETE. On iPhone the app also asks Apple to confirm your Apple ID.
4. The account is deleted at once and you are signed out.

Steam (Windows and macOS)

1. Launch the game through Steam and open Settings, then Delete Account.
2. Type DELETE. The game asks Steam for a fresh ownership proof, so only the Steam account signed in right now can delete this profile.
3. Your Fickle Allies server profile is deleted and the game closes. Launching again creates a new, empty profile after Steam verifies ownership.

Delete by email if you uninstalled the game

You do not need to reinstall. Email admin@ashfiregaminglabs.com with the subject Fickle Allies account deletion and include:

• your in-game username;
• the platform you played on (iPhone, Android or Steam); for Steam, your SteamID or profile link;
• whether you want the whole account deleted or only particular data.

How we verify it is you. Before deleting, we confirm that you control the account. We reply with the verification steps for your platform and ask only for information reasonably needed to confirm control, such as details of the account or of a Full Game purchase made with it. We never ask for your password, your Steam password or full payment-card details. Once verified, the same deletion described below is carried out on the server, and we confirm by email when it is done.

We reply within three business days and complete verified requests without undue delay, within the period required by the law that applies to you. If part of a request cannot be completed, we explain why.

What is deleted

iPhone and Android accounts

Deletion permanently removes from our server: your username and password hash, sign-in sessions, statistics, XP and rankings, match history, server-side achievements, Points balance and the full transaction ledger, match-entry and bonus records, scare preferences and entitlements, the guest and device-trial records created before you registered (including encrypted device proofs and trial usage), the device-registration record with its sealed retry proof, and sign-in attempt records for the username.

Steam profiles

Deletion permanently removes from our server: the link between your SteamID and the game profile, your display name, sessions, statistics, XP and rankings, match history, server-side achievements, Points and ledger, game-side entitlements and preferences, and the cached licence record. Nothing held by Valve is changed: your Steam account, your purchased licence and achievements stored by Steam stay with Valve.

What is kept, and why

• Store purchase record (iPhone and Android only). If the account bought Full Game Access, we keep the record needed to restore or refund that purchase: store provider, platform, store transaction and product identifiers, verified or refunded state with dates, a fingerprint of the store token and the environment. It is unlinked from any account, username, password, gameplay or balance. It lets you restore the purchase to a new account and lets Apple or Google refund events be processed.
• Device registration marker (iPhone and Android only). Each device may create two free accounts. So that deleting an account does not reset that limit, we keep a keyed, non-reversible marker: platform, a keyed hash, the registration slot used, and the registration and deletion times. It contains no username, password, gameplay history, device token or attestation proof, and it cannot be turned back into a device identifier without the server secret.
• Security logs. Server security events keep pseudonymous references only, never passwords, tickets or readable identifiers. Short-term rate-limit records are aged out automatically.
• Backups. Hosting backups are replaced on their own cycle; deleted data in a backup is not restored to the live service.
• Records held by Apple, Google and Valve. Your store account, purchases, refunds and platform features stay with the platform under its own policy.

Deleting a Fickle Allies account does not delete your Apple, Google or Steam account, does not refund a purchase, and does not reset the two-accounts-per-device limit. Uninstalling the game alone is not a deletion request.
